My family and I recently attended a summer party with lunch, snacks and lots of swimming.  My kids will pretty much eat anything or at least try it to see if they like it.  At this party they had cut up all the fruit with cookie cutters and made them into shapes such as stars, hearts, flowers and anyting you could think of that a cookie cutters shape could be.  They were then placed on kabob sticks and the kids all thought that was the most amazing thing to see all the different shapes of fruit.  They were gone in no time all.  There were also little bags of assorted chips, Doritos, Lays, Frito's, they used these to make taco's.  You just opened the bag of chips, put in your meat, cheese, tomatoes, olive's, lettuce, or whatever you like to add to your Taco's and you have a meal.  The kids absolutely loved this, even the adult's were getting a kick out of this idea.  Save's alot of time on dishes and it's fun to try new things.  Give it a try, they might think your a little weird at first but it really makes a great conversational piece.
